The groups objective is to add value to its acquisitions through development and improvement. We focus on multi-let properties to spread risk. We build and nurture very good relationships with our tenants to ensure long lasting and productive partnerships. Although the main focus of investment is in London we will provide good consideration to all other opportunities that provide value and opportunity. DIRECT INVESTMENTS

We carefully select only a small number of investment opportunities each year which, where appropriate, allows deep involvement in our investee companies. We believe providing capital to be only a small part of our role. Equally important is input on business strategy, assistance in sourcing, hiring and motivating key executives, introductions to and support in developing partners and providing advice in a variety of different areas including acquisitions and IPOs. The absence of the constraints implicit in raising funds from outside investors means we have a high degree of flexibility in its activities.

Flexibility exists in three main areas:
• - The ability, where appropriate, to take a longer term view on investments
• - A broad investment mandate which permits investing in a wide range of sectors or deal types
• - The capability to close investments in very accelerated timeframes

FUND INVESTMENTS

Alongside its direct investment activity, The Grant Group has committed capital to a select group of other funds. We have sought to identify a small group of market leading managers with whom we philosophically share common ground from an investment strategy perspective. Central to this is a high level of involvement in portfolio companies - for us a key driver of exceptional returns.
